Simon Cowell may have his American dream come to full circle if “The X Factor USA” brings home the top nomination for Favorite Competition Show from the People’s Choice Award. The show’s judge, Demi Lovato however, has more chances of winning an award after getting four nominations.

The chances for TXFU to nab the elusive award may be slim since it’s battling the title against top contenders including, “Dancing with the Stars,” and “The Voice.” The NBC’s singing competition with Christina Aguilera, CeeLo Green and Adam Levine as judges is TXFU’s top rival in the category. “The Voice,” has already received an award for the reality competition show and even nominated for the same category at the Emmys 2013.

The Latina singer may have some stiff competition, too but Wetpaint said that she has higher probability to snag one of the four nominations she received from the People’s Choice Awards.

The “Heart Attack” singer is nominated in four categories: Favorite Pop Artist, Favorite Female Artist, Favorite Music Video for “Heart Attack,” and Favorite Music Fan Following.

Demi is vying against BFF, Selena Gomez in the Favorite Female Artist category. The 21-year old TXFU judge is also facing other familiar names in the category, including, Britney Spears, Katy Perry and Pink.

Strong competition also awaits Demi in the Favorite Music Video category. She is nominated for her “Hear Attack” hit single and her first song to receive VEVO certification after being viewed more than 100 million times in August 2013. “Heart Attack” has been viewed 145,852,363 times as of Nov. 14, 2013 as indicated on its YouTube page. Entertainmentwise.com noted in a report that Demi even received triple VEVO certified for her three singles at that time.

But Demi’s contenders on the Favorite Music Video category has surpassed her views on YouTube and these include, "Best Song Ever," by One Direction; "Just Give Me a Reason," by Pink feat. Nate Ruess; "Roar," by Katy Perry and the controversial, "Wrecking Ball," by Miley Cyrus.
