‘Pitch Perfect 3’ cast bonds with sea lions; Kendrick introduces ‘new boyfriend’

“Pitch Perfect 3” cast members Anna Kendrick (Beca), Rebel Wilson (Fat Amy) and other members of the Barden Bellas have spent time bonding with sea lions. The actresses have taken to Instagram to share their experiences at the Georgia Aquarium on Feb. 16. Kendrick has posted a candid photo of herself. She captioned her picture with “My new boyfriend” along with a lips emoji.

Anna Camp (Aubrey) has posted a photo of herself with a sea lion. “Today we met sea lions!! #georgiaaquarium. We even harmonised with them,” she wrote along the photo.

Wilson, on the other hand, has posted a clip showing the Barden Bellas in their uniforms as they bond with the sea lions. “Had the best time @GeorgiaAquarium today,” she wrote alongside her social media update.

Before the “Pitch Perfect 3” cast’s latest social media updates, reports surfaced that they were in Atlanta for their film shoot. Hailee Steinfeld (Emily). Chrissie Fit (Flo), Kelly Jakle (Jessica) and Ester Dean (Cynthia Rose) are also part of the third film of the franchise. They are set to reprise their roles in “Pitch Perfect 3.”

Elizabeth Banks will also be coming back as Gail, the comedic commentator for the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella. Banks was also the director of “Pitch Perfect 2.” She is producer of the upcoming film, alongside Max Handelman (Brownstone Productions) and Paul Brooks (Gold Circle Entertainment).

There will be some new faces too. “Timeless” actor Matt Lanter, “The Crown” star John Lithgow and rapper Trinidad James have been cast for the upcoming film. Details about their roles are being kept under wraps. James’ character, however, was reported to be part of a group that will compete against the Barden Bellas.

Meanwhile, the film is looking for people of different nationalities, Asian, Indian, Hispanic, Middle Eastern, Russian and European to play extras. Interested parties are advised to send an email with three photographs to extras@RoseLockeCasting.com.

Trish Sie is tasked to direct "Pitch Perfect 3” with a screenplay written by Kay Cannon with Mike White and Dana Fox. Fans can see more of the Barden Bellas when the film hits the big screens. “Pitch Perfect 3” is expected to hit Australian theatres on Dec. 22.
