‘Pitch Perfect 3’: Hailee Steinfeld posts on Instagram to confirm she’s part of the film

Hailee Steinfeld has confirmed that she will be part of “Pitch Perfect 3.” The actress and singer took to her Instagram account to tell fans to relax because she is “here.” In the photo, Steinfeld is wearing an Esprit cropped sweatshirt and holding up three fingers on each hand.

Steinfeld was introduced in “Pitch Perfect 2” as Emily Junk. Fans can recall that her character has officially become a Bella in the second film. E! Online has exclusively revealed that she will be returning to the third film to reprise her role.

During a special screening of her indie drama, “Ten Thousand Saints,” in 2015, Steinfeld has confirmed that she’s in for the third “Pitch Perfect” movie. “I can't wait! It's all happening,” she said.

On January 5, Anna Kendrick (Beca) posted a group photo of the “Pitch Perfect 3” cast. Steinfeld was not included in the photo. Steinfeld might not have been around for the group picture but she will still be on the cast list of “Pitch Perfect 3.”

Steinfeld is popularly known for her portrayal of Mattie Ross in “True Grit” (2010). She was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress and the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role for her performance in the film. The actress has also been part of other films like “Ender's Game” (2013), “Romeo & Juliet” (2013),”Begin Again” (2013), “3 Days to Kill” (2014) and “The Edge of Seventeen” (2016).

Aside from Kendrick, Steinfeld will star alongside Chrissie Fit (Flo), Rebel Wilson (Fat Amy), Hana Mae Lee (Lilly) and Shelley Regner (Ashley) in the upcoming movie. Kelley Jakle (Jessica), Ester Dean (Cynthia Rose), Brittany Snow (Chloe) and Anna Camp (Aubrey) are also part of the “Pitch Perfect 3” cast.

“Pitch Perfect 3” is directed by Trish Sie. The film will hit Australian theatres on Aug. 3.
