Nothing has changed with PopCap Games' decision to push back Plants vs. Zombies 2: It's About Time to an unspecified summer release. And, as of yet, it has not announced any definitive dates worth remembering.

However, one thing to note is that, when it was soft-launched in Australia and New Zealand App Stores for beta testing, PopCap gave a statement that the beta testing would take place for around a month, as they would be studying economic and buying behavior of consumers for freemium app.

Game Informer also reiterates that it is possible to see that the coming weeks may bear fruit as to the release of the game. Unless major changes will still take place following the beta testing, it's likely that Plants vs. Zombies 2 will reach international App Stores by the end of next month.

Dead Rising 3: Xbox 360 was not enough for the game

Dead Rising 3 may be something worth looking forward to for a next-gen game, as developer Capcom Vancouver said that the Xbox 360 was pushed to the limits, but perhaps not enough, as the game will now be moving on to the Xbox One.

In an interview with developers as reported by VG 24/7, producer Mike Jones stated that developing the game for the PC had already given them hints that they just can't produce the game to fit it in the Xbox 360.

What this tells us is that one, it would be that many zombies coming for the next installment, and two, it can be a test of just how far advanced the Xbox One is compared to its current-gen counterpart.

"Our tech team partnered with Microsoft to get early specs and figure out how we were going to get it on new hardware," said Jones as quoted by VG 24/7. "The biggest things for us have been the size of the world, the density of the world, the streaming spaghetti of getting everything working with no load zones and seamlessly streaming."

Aside from the power of the Xbox One, it seems that the Kinect will also find great use for the game.

Dear Rising 3 is slated to release alongside the Xbox One during the holiday season.

2 more villains for Batman: Arkham Origins

It has not yet been a week since Copperhead was revealed to be a villain for Batman: Arkham Origins, and already, there's another character that's hinted to be part of the roster of bad guys.

Videogamer reports that Jervis Tetch, more known as the Mad Hatter, will be putting his brand of crazy into the game. According to the report, fans have already seen Mad Hatter in Batman: Arkham City with his display of mind-controlling powers.

Perhaps a trailer for the Mad Hatter and references to Alice in Wonderlands would confirm the villain's stand in the game, in the same way that it did for Copperhead.

So far, the other known villains to star in the game are The Joker and Anarky, while previous reports have hinted at a possible leak of characters, which include, Killer Croc, Scare Crow, and Bane, though they have yet to be confirmed.
