Injustice: Gods Among Us and Borderlands 2 DLCs Revealed; Saints Row 4 DLC Coming 45 Days After Game Launch
As previously announced, NetherRealm Studios is making good with its promise of more DLCs to come beyond the Season Pass. And while the Martian Manhunter DLC is actually a fulfillment of that promise when it comes out July 30, there's another DLC that will come out as early as this week.
According to its official Twitter account, the next Injustice: Gods Among Us DLC won't be a character DLC, but instead, a S.T.A.R. Labs DLC to be released July 23.
"S.T.A.R. Labs DLC is coming tomorrow. 40 new missions--$1.99 or free for Season Pass members. Which S.T.A.R. Labs mission is the toughest?"
It seems that this is another bonus treat for Season Pass members, especially for fans of the four previously announced characters, Lobo, Batgirl, Scorpion, and General Zod, who will each be getting 10 S.T.A.R. Labs missions each.
As per where the DLCs will be releasing, DLCentral reports that Martian Manhunter is reportedly coming to the Xbox 360 and PS3, though there is no word yet on whether the Wii U release will also be available on the same day.
Borderlands 2 get 2 DLCs plus Level Cap
The San Diego Comic-Con isn't the only event that is making some waves for a slew of gaming fans, as PAX Australia also holds a barrage of announcements, starting with the reveal of new missions and levels for Borderlands 2.
According to IGN, developer Gearbox Software has already confirmed that a level cap will be raised by 11 levels to reach 72, which is just one of the movements seen for the game title.
This level cap is said to be available for $5, as it will be coming with the Ultimate vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2: Digistruck Peak Challenge. Those who want to earn more booty can also go for impossible-to-win enemies.
Other packs will also be coming, starting with Headhunter packs--yes, packs, because there will be a lot of them--allowing you to play through new missions and face boss fights. Some more packs that are slated for release before the year is up include character heads and skins, similar to the themed skins and heads that were previously revealed.
So far, the level cap is the one that has the release date of October, but the Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2 will be worth $5. This goes for both regular and Season Pass holders, as these packs are no longer part of the bargain, reports Eurogamer.
Saints Row 4 DLC revealed
Enter the Dominatrix has been talked about for the Saints Row 4 franchise, and now, after an announcement at the Comic-Con about this, it has finally revealed to be a DLC for the game.
What's more, a reveal date has already been announced--according to Joystiq, it will arrive 45 days after the game has been released on August 20. This game will be unique in the sense that there will be more behind the scenes material.
But that is not all there is to Saints Row 4. A while back, Saints Row 4 made headlines by becoming one of the games that were banned by the Australian Classification Board. Bu this time, developer Volition has already redone some of the aspects in the game that the rating board found to be too offensive can't even be contained by the R18+ rating.
According to Game Politics, publisher Deep Silver will resubmit the game on July 29, which is in line with the less violent version that has been released on Steam for Australian gamers.
Saints Row 4 was previously banned for its Alien Anal Probe weapon and drug use within the game.
