PlayStation and Amazon Hold Spring Sale, Bring Discounts for Great Titles
Want to get more games at lower prices? Enjoy two sales kicking off today, with Sony's Spring Fever Sale, followed by Amazon's own Spring Sale, featuring 15 great titles.
Spring Sale hit PSN with great titles
It's time for Sony's yearly Spring Sale. This time, it's hitting hard with great games from indie developers.
Subscribers of PS Plus also have the bonus of a 20% discount on top of the sale prices of the games.
"Spring Fever is the perfect opportunity to show what makes PlayStation the premier destination for new and unique experiences from talented developers," said Adam Boyes, vice president, developer, and publisher relations, SCEA in a statement to Joystiq.
"We have made bringing independent games to PSN easier than ever for developers, and part of that support includes making it easier for gamers to discover the best of the best titles."
For now, four titles have already been released as part of the Spring Fever Sale, reports PlayStation Lifestyle, including Guacamelee! for April 9, priced at $14.99. Next week, it will be Dragon Fantasy Book 1 at $9.99, followed by Thomas Was Alone on April 23, sold also at $9.99. Finally, for April 30, you can get Zombie Tycoon 2: Brainhov's Revenge at $9.99
Catch these games until May 6, and you can also enjoy 65% discount off games and additional content for weekly sales, including major titles like Grand Theft Auto and Resident Evil.
Amazon goes on a spring cleaning sale
Catch 15 titles, including some recently released ones with Amazon's Spring Outlet event.
According to GameZone, some of the games include Tomb Raider ($45.99), Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 ($39.99), Dead Space 3 ($39.99), Diablo III ($39.99), NCAA Football 13 ($38.17), Battlefield 3: Premium Edition ($39.99), and Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 ($21.18), to name a few.
"Our Spring Outlet event is in full swing. Lots of great deals," said Amazon in a tweet in its official Twitter page.
