Pokemon Go+ preorders unavailable in Amazon, new Pokemon games to debut on Wii U Virtual Console
“Pokemon Go” has seen quite its fair share of attention, but at E3 2016, it’s the wearable accessory that caught the eyes of audiences. Since the developer did confirm a July release date for the accessory, preorders have naturally started up.
It seems that preorders are already limited, because Amazon has just recently closed its preorders. On the official page, the Nintendo Pokemon Go Plus device is currently unavailable, with no date yet on when the preorders will open again.
The point of the Pokemon Go Plus accessory is to give players an easier time to catch Pokemon and collect items. It’s essentially a one-click button that will let players catch Pokemon in the wild, and they will be notified by the device itself if a Pokemon is nearby. This takes away the extra step of looking at the smartphone.
Plus, the device looks like an almost Poke Ball, if not for the slightly edged bottom. Sine it is a wearable device, players can wear it like a watch or clip it neatly on their pockets. With preorders already in shortage, Nintendo of Europe had recently tweeted on its official Twitter a link where fans can preorder.
There’s no specified release date yet for “Pokemon Go,” but back in E3 2016, the developer confirmed that accessory will be released in July. It is highly plausible that the game will launch around the same time as its accessory device, Polygon reported.
For now, fans can look forward to the addition of three titles for the Wii U Virtual Console. Nintendo confirmed on the official website that three titles from the “Pokemon Mystery Dungeon” series will be coming on June 23.
These three titles are “Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team,” “Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Team” and “Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of the Sky.” The first title is a Game Boy Advance title, while the latter two are original Nintendo DS titles.
The “Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team” and “Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team” leaves the players with the goal of finding out what the purpose is for being in that Pokemon world. “Explorers of the Sky” will put players in the shoes of a Pokemon, where they will partner up with another Pokemon to go on an adventure to save the world.
