Pokemon news: 20th celebration continues in March as new ‘Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire,’ ‘Pokemon Shuffle’ events arrive
The celebrations for the 20th year anniversary of Pokemon is just starting. For this March, Celebi will take the spotlight as the Mythical Pokemon commemorated for the second month of the Pokemon anniversary celebration.
Nintendo is now distributing Celebi via the Nintendo Network, and it will mimic the original Celebi that was first released for “Pokemon Gold” and “Pokemon Silver” in the Nintendo Game Boy Color. Fans in Australia and Europe enjoyed an earlier release of Celebi distribution for “Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire” and “Pokemon X and Y,” My Nintendo News reported. Distribution of the Celebi Pokemon is ongoing until March 24, so fans should make sure to get it while it’s a free gift.
