New Zealand Labour Attacked for 'Mad' Threat to Ban Facebook Over Taxes

The New Zealand Labour Party has threatened to ban Facebook and the Internet from multi-national corporations over tax issues. Labour proposed the solution to force corporations to pay more taxes. The party recommends that the New Zealand government should talk to Facebook but if this doesn't work, a backup plan must be in place which Labour described as a "credible threat."

According to a survey by the University of Adelaide and YWCA, 8 out of 10 women over the age of 31 were less likely to pursue a career in politics while 57 per cent of women between 18 and 21 years old were turned off by the media's treatment of Ms. Gillard.
