'Power' season 4 episode 5 preview: Angela's new mission; Trouble in prison
After discovering the truth, Angela (Lela Loren) will have a new mission on her hands in “Power” season 4 episode 5. A preview video of the next episode shows her visiting James (Omari Hardwick) again. Meanwhile, Ghost has to deal with a new problem in jail. The following article contains spoilers based on the preview video.
While there was good news for James in the previous episode, there were also setbacks. On the brighter side, Angela believes he is innocent. The preview video shows her visiting Ghost in jail, but she is still a little sceptical about whether or not to believe him.
James has been professing his innocence since day one, but the only person apart from his family and friends who believes him is his now ex-lawyer Joe Proctor (Jerry Ferrara). He is desperate to prove to his former lover that he is innocent. Angela is convinced of his innocence, according to the synopsis, and will work to stop the prosecution.
According to the synopsis of the episode, James’ new lawyer Terry Silver (Brandon Victor Dixon) will warn his client that his wife Tasha (Naturi Naughton) may have to testify. Tasha is under a lot of pressure, both mentally and financially. Now, “an old colleague” will offer them money, but it comes “with strings attached.”
Back in prison, Tony Teresi (William Sadler) will start making plans to assassinate Ghost. However, things take a different turn when James proves “he still has value.”
Meanwhile, LaKeisha (La La Anthony) will pressure Tommy (Joseph Sikora) about their relationship and her shop. Under pressure, “he’s forced to come clean about his past.”
Kanan (50 Cent) will also be back next episode. Dre (Rotimi) has a proposal, and Kana is listening.
While Angela may be intent on stopping the case against James, her colleagues may have a different idea. US Attorney John Mak and the other prosecution lawyers appear confident after getting Joe thrown out of the trial. They will then go after the conviction.
