Prince Harry Encourages Kids To Get Into Sports [VIDEO]
Prince Harry releases a video that shows his charming royalty delivering a message to the kids of Britain to get active into sports. This is in line with the upcoming London Olympics.
As an avid sportsman himself, the bachelor prince believes that getting into sports can teach kids great values that they can treasure for the rest of their lives. From discipline, respect and perseverance, the 27-year-old Prince Harry believes that every school in UK should support the same endeavours.
"I believe that taking part in sport can be incredibly beneficial to young people," Prince Harry said in the video message as the President of the School Games too.
Prince Harry believes that the London 2012 event will give emphasis more than ever to the value of sports and what young kids can learn from it aside from giving glory to the countries athletes represent.
He wishes that the younger generation of today will be able to follow the role models in the likings of the Olympic heroes and start getting involved as well. The prince even encourages those students who feel that they do not have the 'sporty' personality to even love the games. He emphasized that it all starts with trying it as a good habit and making one's self comfortable in time with doing some sporty routines.
Prince Harry As A Sportsman
It was during his college days that the prince developed a passion for sports and became very active playing sports like abseiling, skiing, rugby and of course, polo. It is the last sport mentioned that he is always photographed playing with his own brother, Prince William, whether they are on the same or opposing teams.
His various charity works are also deeply related with sports and the involvement of the youth. He was once assigned as captain for the England Schools team as it competed for an International game with France.
Prince Harry is also a member of the Beaufort Club and has been able to compete in tournaments way too many to mention. He is also as passionate in the sport of rugby that last 2004, he helped coach younger generations to play the sport in various clubs, communities and school activities.
The eligible bachelor prince was also Eton's house games captain and was recently spotted playing polo against the team of his own brother, Prince William, who just turned 30.
