Prince Harry Supports Ex-Girlfriend Cressida Bonas In ‘The Importance Of Being Earnest’ Play
After months of calling it quits, estranged royal couple Prince Harry and Cressida Bonas are still supporting each other in their careers. The ginger-haired royal was one of the first to see the British actress as she takes the role of Cecily Cardew on Oscar Wilde’s “The Importance of Being Earnest” at the London Oratory.
The 30-year-old royal reportedly made a low-key entrance but was seen enjoying the play on March 25, Wednesday. Harry’s presence ignited rumours of a possible reconciliation but a source from Us Weekly confirmed that speculations are not true and the former couple are just supporting each other as friends.
"They're not back together or getting back together. Him going to the “Importance of Being Earnest” was him supporting someone who has been an important part of his life," according to Us Weekly’s insider. "They both still talk and support each other's work."
Harry was seen leaving the London Oratory on Wednesday night after catching Bonas in a benefit performance. The play was being put on by Band of Others and proceeds are going to Action on Addiction charity.
Bonas made her stage debut in “There’s a Monster in the Lake” at Hay-on-Wye Festival last summer and landed a role in the upcoming romance drama “Tulip Fever” in June 2014. The 26-year-old blond also hinted of moving to Hollywood months after she got the role in the movie.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry recently announced that he is leaving the armed forced after 10 years of military service. The Kensington Palace announced Harry’s decision to leave his post on Monday, March 16, as he decided that it’s time for him to move on.
He also announced that he will continue his Invictus Games for the injured servicemen and women, and hopes that it will be “as amazing as the last.” Prince William’s brother is set to spend some time with Australian Defense Force in Perth, Darwin and Sydney before officially signing off.
Harry is also scheduled to join Prince Charles at the Gallipoli commemorations in Turkey from April 24 to 25. He will complete his time with the Armed forces by going on an official Royal tour to New Zealand in May.
