Princess Charlene of Monaco makes heads turn with new pixie cut
Princess Charlene of Monaco made heads turn with her new hairstyle -- a pixie cut. It is one of the shortest haircuts of the Monaco royal in recent years.
The South African beauty unveiled her new look at the Monte Carlo Casino, where she met Russian boxer Ruslan Provodnikov ahead of his match against Jesus Alvarez Rodriguez on Nov. 8, Hello UK reports. The sportsman shared a picture of himself and the former Olympic swimmer on Instagram and described the meeting as an “honor.”
“Had the honor of meeting Charlene, The Princess of Monaco just two days before my fight against Jesus Alvarez Rodriguez (14-0, 11 KO’s) in Monte Carlo,” Ruslan captioned the picture.
The picture shows the duo posing in the casino. The 37-year-old wore her blonde hair in side parting. She was wearing a chic monochrome dress in black and beige with zip detailing and long sleeves.
The stylish royal paired her colour block ensemble with black tights and matching boots, Hello US reports. Charlene is married to Prince Albert II of Monaco.
This year has been a very busy year for the Monaco royal family. In August, Princess Caroline’s son, Pierre Casiraghi, got married to Beatrice Borromeo of Italy. Prince Albert also celebrated his 10th anniversary on the throne.
Charlene and Albert also celebrated the baptism of their twins, a boy and a girl, in May. Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques were brought to the Cathedral of Monaco for the ceremony.
Meanwhile, Gareth Wittstock, the younger brother of Charlene, tied the knot with his sweetheart Roisin Gavin at the town hall in Monaco in September. The 34-year-old computer specialist has a two-year-old daughter, Kaia-Rose, with Gavin.
The intimate wedding was presided over by Monaco’s Mayor Georges Marsan, according to the Monaco Matin newspaper. The publication said that it was a prelude to a bigger wedding celebration at the Grand Hotel Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat.
