PS Now Beta’s New Possible Pricing Options Hinted; a New PS4 Game Gets Details and a Teaser
The PlayStation Now beta may be looking at various ways to improve after the rather negative way it was received after the pricing of rental games was revealed.
One of the potential ways was spotted by PlayStation Universe, wherein any purchases made via the PlayStation Network will allegedly now be transferable to the PS Now. This will supposedly allow for your purchases via the PSN to now be available for free on the PS Now.
This information came from a Redditor who had noted that the PS3 versions of purchases games "Saints Row 2" and "Stick to the Man" are already available to play on the PS Now. While any PS4 versions don't display this capability, the user notes that this may be due to the fact that the PS3 version for the PS Now is more updated that its next-gen counterpart.
Apart from this plan, DualShockers has also spotted an online testing survey that seeks to lighten the pricing options previously revealed. The survey asks that the rental service may offer a deluxe version, wherein all the other DLC content, in-game items and others will be made available for a 15% of the rental pricing scheme.
At the same time, there was also a question on the rental timeframe (without putting much emphasis on the price of each time period), which asks whether the 15% deluxe version appeals to the respondent in relation to the given time frames, which includes 2 hours, 4 hours, 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days and 90 days.
As far as the fans are concerned, however there seem to be a resounding preference for a subscription fee model, where they just need to pay for a set subscription fee every month in order to gain access of whatever the PlayStation Now is giving.
Sony has yet to reveal any final decisions on how it plans to run the PS Now service.
'The Origin of Titan Souls' Hailing in Takedowns on the PS4
Battle games against bosses have been part of the videogame formula but Acidnerve's newest offering to the industry gives the player just one indestructible arrow before dropping you off in the middle of nowhere with a mission.
You need to find the Titans residing in the area, take them down and face off boss battles--that's basically the main goal of "The Origin of Titan Souls."
According to the PlayStation Blog, what makes this an even more intense game is that there is now health bar. Just as you can kill a Titan with one hit, you can also be killed with one strike. It's the ultimate challenge of a game where each shot fired counts (as you'll be retrieving that arrow time and again) and each dodge should be sure and swift.
"The Origin of Titan Souls" is set for an early 2015 release date, as the developer is still making some progress in balancing the fights.
