PS4 and Games: Exclusives Still Possible in 2014; The Last PlayStation Store Deals for 2014; PS Vita Bounces Back?
Somehow, Microsoft has had some kind of an edge over Sony during the current generation consoles in terms of exclusives when it comes to third party content. And while Sony's PS4 is still leading when it comes to exclusive indie content for the next-gen consoles, it looks like the company is also aiming to have an edge over the competition via third-party exclusives.
However, this may be done differently, rather than a gimmick that would make them "just exclusive" for a time and nothing else.
"What's more important is not to try and craft something that is just exclusive for the sake of it, but that takes full advantage of the PlayStation 4's capabilities, in a way that perhaps isn't possible for the competition. That's something we'll develop over time," said Andrew House, Sony Computer Entertainment president, in an interview quoted by PlayStation Lifestyle.
Banking on the power of the PS4, PlayStation Lifestyle reports that House is confident that what will make it better is to show off the PS4's prowess by taking advantage of what only it can do.

PS Vita sales going up with the PS4
When Sony started advertising the PS Vita as the "ultimate companion" for the PS4, everyone thought that the company was just trying to pull a fast one to bring back the PS Vita to the table.
But little did people know that it's actually shaping up to fulfill its role. And it's not just because of the Remote Play, considering the many releases that Sony has been giving for the PS Vita following the PS4's launch.
According to Videogamer, the figures of the PS Vita sales are proof, as it had risen by as much as 68% on the week of the PS4 launch alone, while it continued with a 65% increase the week after.
