Sony has already released the PS4 2.03 firmware update to improve the unit even more. This has also been announced by the official PlayStation Twitter account, as seen in the tweet embedded below.

Heads-up: PS4 system software update v2.03 arrives later tonight, and will help improve usage of some applications.

The download, according to Gamepur, is already available for everyone. Unlike the PS4 2.00 firmware update, however, this newest version is only a stability update. The change log is a bit short compared with all of the add-ons that were seen for the previous update, as the main improvement is only on "system software stability during use of some features." Still, it's an update worth downloading, especially to stabilise the performance of PS4.

Holiday Sale Announced

PlayStation players can also expect great deals for games on the PS4, PS3 and PS Vita. The PlayStation Blog has announced the Holiday Sale, which is already ongoing at the PS Store.

The discounts up for grabs are up to 65 percent, but for PS Plus members, discounts of up to 75 percent are available. The Holiday Sale starting now is just the first of four, as it will count down the days till the last week of December. This means that the first of four Holiday Sale editions will last until Dec. 9.

There are a number of big titles per platform available, which are detailed in the link above. But here are some of the games that fans can get for the PS4 within the week:

- Castlestorm Definitive Edition

Limited PlayStation 20th Edition Unveiled

For those who want to have a limited edition PS4, now's your chance. Celebrating its 20th year of the PlayStation, Sony has unveiled the limited edition 20th anniversary PlayStation, and anyone can be one of the lucky 12,300 owners of the unit.

As seen in the video below, the PS4 anniversary edition has the same "original gray" colour that the first PlayStation came out with, a homage to what had started the string of successful consoles. "The original PlayStation was meant to embody that sense of adventure and discovery, that sense that anything was possible," said Shuhei Yoshida to PlayStation Blog Europe.

The PS4 20th anniversary edition is priced at 499 euros. According to the source, the limited 12,300 units reflects the date that the original PlayStation was first launched. Sadly, the edition will only be available in traditional retail channels in the SCEE region. More information will be revealed soon regarding how the units will be distributed.
