After Diablo III was announced at Sony's event last February, many were already hyped at succeeding news such as the offline play that it will offer for console players.

Now Blizzard Entertainment has announced that Diablo III will be making use of another PS4-exclusive feature: the DualShock 4 touchpad, reports GameSpot.

According to Blizzard Entertainment, it's all about the experience in the game, and there's no better way to highlight the functionality than giving the players a chance for fast response in terms of how they play the game.

"Diablo is a pretty deep game and we don't like a lot of overload on the buttons," said John Hight, production director at Blizzard Entertainment to GameSpot. "We want to keep it really simple so you can get to the things you need to get to fast as you need to do it. We think the touchpad's going to give us a lot more opportunity to make that interface a lot easier."

The announcement was just a teaser as to how Diablo III may be from the point of view of a PS4 player, as no other comment or detail was given.

Play PS4 games on your PS Vita

Putting more value to both the PS4 and the PS Vita is Sony's latest announcement via its official PlayStation 4 website.

Quoted by VG 24/7, the site announced, "Play your favorite PS4 games on your PlayStation Vita's beautiful 5-inch display using Remote Play."

For those who are wondering if this is just an additional feature to move PS Vita off the shelves, PSMania reports that this feature has already been announced in Sony's February event.

"We would like every PS4 game to be able to use this service as we are sure they will, in time," said Mark Cerny, lead architect of the PS4, to PSMania.

Sure enough, this may be the confirmation of the feature. Unfortunately, there are still no announcements on whether this feature can be applied to any game released via PS4, but this can be one of Sony's step-up for its PS4 over Sony's next-gen Xbox 720.

Sony Japan reveals Panopticon

A new game is in the works in the studios of Sony Japan, and the game, dubbed as Panopticon, seems to be a cyberpunk appeal tossed with a very unique plot line that involves humans and robots.

Though a reveal date has not yet been announced, it seems that more details will surface come May 21--ironically a date that coincides with Microsoft's big reveal of its next-gen Xbox 720.

According to EuroGamer, the timing of the game may be pointing to a potential PS4 release. However, the studio itself already has one PS4 launch title in the works, Knack, the video game showcased in Sony's event last February.

In any case, check out the trailer below to see more of Panopticon before its reveal on May 21.
