"Uncharted 4" and its studio Naughty Dog has been going through both the highs and lows for the past few months. Aside from the joyous revelation of "Uncharted 4" debuting on the PS4 and the fact that "The Last of Us" had won countless awards and claims, there was also the darker side of departures that had clouded the great with the bad.

Now it seems that the co-presidents of Naughty Dog Evan Wells and Christophe Balestra had sat down with Game Informer not just to clear the air but to also let fans catch up on the latest with "Uncharted 4" and other projects coming from the studio.

According to the Naught Dog co-presidents, the departures were not because of some reported power-tripping on the part of "The Last of Us" leads Neil Druckmann and Bruce Straley. Rather, it was a transition from the PS3 to the PS4 and the vision that the company is trying to reach.

"The momentum had changed very recently because the tech is getting better and artists can finally just work and see results on the screen," said Balestra to Game Informer. "Even if we had some changes, the entire team is extremely excited with what they're doing right now."

But that does not mean that all the projects are going smoothly--because every game does have its own hiccups. For the most part, however, Naughty Dog is managing, to say the least, as Druckmann and Straley have been asked to lead the project for "Uncharted 4." Even this decision seems based on previous experience, as Balestra revealed that Druckmann had worked on Jak X, another treasured Sony title.

"Uncharted 4" itself is progressing at a fast pace, as things have reportedly accelerated in the studio as the developer continue on.

"We sure hope you're surprised by how amazing it looks! It's going to be an exciting story, and I think people are going to really buy into this one in a way that I think is consistent with the rest of the stories," said Wells. "It's a stand-alone adventure like all of them are; we don't expect people to have played the past games to enjoy the current one. But you're going to get to experience Drake and his crew in a new way.

There was even a mention of multiple projects ongoing at Naughty Dog, which isn't a surprise, considering that Wells and Balestra have revealed that there is a continuous hiring going on at the studio to match the demand for game creation.

"We have multiple projects going," said Wells. "We've got the Uncharted project... we've got DLC for 'The Last of Us,' and we've got the remastered version [of The Last of Us]. We've got other projects in the works that are in the very early stages. We have at least four different pretty significant things going on right now."

"Uncharted 4" is a Great Game According to insider

Apart from the new clues in the aforementioned interview, there have been very little details of "Uncharted 4," which is proof that Sony may be saving the best for their E3 2014 announcements.

In any case, Load the Game has spotted a tweet from insider Tidux regarding the "Uncharted 4" build and how off the scales it is when it comes to being a great game.

To quote insider Tidux, he said, "Just seen a new build of Uncharted, I have no words #GreatnessAwaits #PS4."

Even other insiders like Thuway a.k.a. Ahsan Rasheed, who compared "Uncharted 4" to games like "Quantum Break" and "The Order: 1886" with a much impressed countenance for the latter.

Given how Naughty Dog's last project, "The Last of Us," swept up awards and raked in praise from players and industry makers alike, "Uncharted 4" may be following in those same footsteps. Sony has already promised that the E3 2014 will bring in more news for "Uncharted 4."
