In a fortnight, the PS4 will be launching for North America, and a lot of gamers are already excited to get their hands on Sony's next-gen console.

Despite the rather disappointing news about the lack of support for expandable external hard drives for the PS4, it serves as only a slight damper to the mood.

In fact, Target seems to be expecting that gamers will be flocking in to get more PS4 games for the console, which is why it is offering a great deal for gamers. According to Polygon, there's a Buy 2, Take 1 Free deal at Target now for the PS4 games.

This report was based on the leaked promotional materials, targeted for the launch week of the PS4. Some of the games that are supposedly part of the promo include Battlefield 4, Assassin's Creed 4, Killzone: Shadow Fall, Knack, NBA 2K14, FIFA 14, and Madden NFL 25.

The only catch in the promo is that all three titles should be different, and the cheapest game will be the one getting the freebie promo. The slated promo date runs from November 10 to 16. Another catch is that the games that will be made available for the promo are just the ones that are in stock at Target

Still, it's not a bad way to get a free game for your new and shiny PS4 console.

Remember, there are 22 games that will be available for the PS4 at launch, with Awesomenauts Assemble also coming in as another PS4 game title at launch. This was recently announced by developer Ronimo via a press release obtained by Joystiq. However, a release date is yet to be concretely announced.

News on Remote Play isn't so reassuring outside the house

When Remote Play was being talked about and promoted a while back, it gave the impression that PS4 owners will really find the PS Vita handy for a number of its remote features.

From buying and downloading games wherever you are to checking updates on your PlayStation account, and even to the idea of playing PS4 games on your PS Vita from anywhere, it was a pretty sweet deal.

Now, Sony has modified the ability of Remote Play, and put an impressive limit to the sphere of reach that the feature allows you. In other words, Remote Play may be highly likely available only in any part of your house. That your home Wi-Fi can reach.

Spotted by IGN in the list of PS4 FAQs that Sony has released, it seems that remote play done via Wi-Fi that's not shared with your PS4 can result in some problems.

"We strongly recommend that Remote Play be used within the same WiFi network where PS4 is connected," said Sony as quoted by IGN.

"For Remote Play to function over a wide area network, a robust and stable WiFi connection and broadband Internet connection is required, and the local area network where the PS4 is connected must be reconfigured to permit the PS Vita system to access PS4.

Basically, Remote Play on the PS4 and PS Vita is not possibly with 3G service, so it looks like any remote play that you'll be doing with the PS4 is to avoid arguments about hogging the TV for so long.
