Everything About 'Battlefield 4': Review, Story Campaign, Day One Patch, and DLC
"Battlefield 4" is already out, and many may have already finished pre-loading their games after the 24-hour pre-release date allowance.
But the developments for the game haven't ended yet, as more news and updates have been revealed for the game.
How is 'Battlefield 4' Overall?
At first glance, it seems that there's not much to say about "Battlefield 4" except that it's trigger-happy heaven for anyone who likes first-person shooter games.
For the fourth installment of the game, you can expect bigger worlds to move in, fiercer battlefields and a lot of strategy-based progressions.
While the single-player campaign is said to be pretty standard, if not to a fault, Kotaku reports that "Battlefield 4's" multi-player campaign is what you'll be after in the game anyway. Perhaps the biggest gripe in the single-player mode is that it can become very monotonous, easy to do and repetitive over time.
However, Polygon also states that "Battlefield 4" also takes small things from its previous iterations---all the better things---in order to weave a more intricate and fulfilling FPS game like no other. This makes the few surprises that can be found in the campaign even more exciting and bumps it up a notch compared to the previous iteration, "Battlefield 3."
Still, getting into the multi-player mode---especially on next-gen consoles---will probably make the gaming experience even more fun than what you're already experiencing in the solo mode, so better get in gear to shoot it out with other friends and players online.
Multi-player Trailer is Quite Inviting
Speaking of the awaited multi-player trailer, EA has released the official multi-player launch trailer, which you can watch here. It shows off just what kind of chaos you'll be facing off online with other gamers.
Explosions, shooting, bullets, soldiers, vehicles, and enemies everywhere--and you also have to deal with the many changing conditions in the process. And just look at the way that building crumbles to the ground.

Day One Patch Will Greatly Help Improve Multi-player
Xbox 360 gamers will have an additional step to accomplish before they can fully enjoy the multi-player for "Battlefield 4" and that's the Multiplayer Update 1 that's already out and available in the Xbox Marketplace.
According to IGN, the patch, which is worth 119.21 MB, will have major improvements for the multi-player as a whole. DICE is strongly advising gamers to download the patch.
Videogamer adds that there will be a smaller update at 6 MB, but this will automatically install once the game is launched. No word yet has been announced for any PS3 Day One patches or downloads.
China Rising DLC Coming Next Month
The promised expansion, China Rising, will already be made available as early as Dec 3, but only to Battlefield Premium subscribers.
GameSpot reports that the release date was included in the in-game calendar of "Battlefield 4" Premium. Those who aren't subscribed will have to wait it out for 2 more weeks to get their copy.
This is the second DLC following the Xbox One timed-exclusive Second Assault, which is slated for release on the launch of the console.
