Purported LG G4s Gets Benchmarked, Specifications Revealed
A new mysterious device was found listed on the GFXBench site. The model number of the device is LG H959. Android Headlines claims that the specification of the device that has cropped up on the benchmarking site probably belongs to the unannounced mini version LG G4 flagship called LG G4s.
According to GFXBench site data revealed by Phone Arena, the LG H959 device has a large 5.5-inch display and it supports a display resolution of 1,080 x 1,920 pixels. The 2014 flagship, the LG G3 supports Quad HD resolution of 1,440 x 2,560 pixels. Considering the fact that the mysterious device is featuring a lower display resolution than the LG G3, the specs do not belong to the LG G4 flagship.
The device also features 2 GB of RAM and offers an internal storage capacity of 16 GB. The camera present on the rear side of the device is of 12 MP whereas the camera sitting on the front is of 2 MP.
The new smartphone is powered by 64-bit Snapdragon 810 chipset. It contains an octa-core processor that produces a clocking speed of 1.9 GHz and it is also equipped with Adreno 430 graphics. The handset also features Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and supports only one SIM card. The handset will come preloaded with Android 5.0.1 Lollipop. By looking at the entire specs of the device, it can be understood well that the specs may not belong to the 2015 flagship from LG.
In the previous year, LG had released the smaller edition of 2014 flagship with the moniker LG G3s. It was the low-end specs edition of the LG G3. So, Phone Arena claims that the mysterious device listed with GFXBench site is the “mini” edition of the LG G4.
LG has not confirmed anything on the mysterious device. Phone Arena says that both Sony and LG are not going to unveil their flagships, the Sony Xperia Z4 and the LG G4, at the Mobile World Congress 2015 expo that will be held in March. It has been revealed that both the companies are poised to release their flagships in the second quarter of the year.
