The world joins Apple in celebrating the life of Steve Jobs, founder and former CEO of the firm that has redefined personal computing and cutting edge mobile communications with Jobs' vision.

Jobs went under the knife in 2004 to combat cancer. He jumped back from the operation with a stronger zeal for life, and this had further driven his amazing work at Apple. In 2007, he launched the iPhone. He had a liver transplant in 2009, then came back again, full of life at work. In 2010, he unveiled the iPad. Both gadgets received very warm global acceptance.

Jobs' last appearance on stage was at Apple's 2011 WWDC conference in San Francisco, where he had worked on the foundation for Apple's latest innovations including iOS 5, OS X Lion, and iCloud.
