Rare Robin Williams Footage Shows Him 'Trolling' The Director [VIDEO]
Daniel Pastel uploaded a rare footage of Robin Williams on his YouTube channel, a video which features 13 minutes of the deceased comedian's completely improvised promotional video for TV veteran director Howard Storm's work.
Robin Williams has worked extensively with Howard Storm on the television show "Mork & Mindy." According to Storm, Robin Williams was a "genius" whom he allowed to fool around on the set before filming even started. This is evidenced in the video which shows Williams goofing around and making celebrity impressions instead of following the script written for him.
Filmed in the 1980s, Robin Williams had but one job in the video: to deliver the lines "Howard Storm is now directing commercials. If he can work with me, he can work with anyone." What happens instead is 13 minutes worth of comical performances by the late actor.
Howard Storm is a veteran director who directed actor Jim Carrey's first movie, "Once Bitten" in 1985. He has also directed several television shows including "Full House" and "Kenan and Kel."
BBC News also published a recent article regarding the late Robin Williams' family fighting over rights to his estate. The dispute is between Williams' widow Susan against their children, Cody, Zachary and Zelda.
