'Ray Donovan' season 3 episode 11 spoilers: Ray tries to get Paige on his side in “Poker”; Mickey gets L.A.-style send-off

In "Ray Donovan" Season 3 episode 11 titled “Poker,” Mickey (Jon Voight) tries to get out of LA with a bang. He agrees to leave Los Angeles instead of having to be placed in an institution under the supervision of Ray (Liev Schreiber).

Showtime reports that Mickey will throw himself a farewell party in the "Poker" episode. He will get on Ray’s nerve one last time before he moves out.

Ray forces Mickey to leave town to give the family more room. Mickey has caused a lot of trouble for the family after getting involved with the Minassians and their sex trafficking operations. When he agreed to work with the authorities and turn against the Armenian mobster family, he put his life and family on the line. Ray had to resort to desperate measures to save his father. However, it may have been too much for Ray that Mickey would still think of hosting a party before he departs.

CarterMatt reveals that Ray will try to convince Paige (Katie Holmes) to side with him in the developing investigation conducted by Ed Cochran (Hank Azaria). In Episode 10, Cochran found the murder weapon, a fire poker, from Andrew Finney’s (Ian McShane) mansion, which he believed to be the key item in the murder of Varick Strauss (Jason Butler Harner).

Ray will soon find out that Cochran is getting very close to obtaining the answers. Ray will talk to Paige so that she might take his side in case her father, Andrew, would try to get rid of him. Paige might be surprised to find out that Ray believes she could possibly turn against her own father, but she also has her own interests to protect. Paige will have to make a crucial decision in “Poker.”

In the previous episode of “Ray Donovan,” titled “One Night in Yerevan,” Ray successfully got his father Mickey off the hook with the Minassians. But, in the end, he compelled the latter to leave town for good. Ed Cochran also found a vital piece of evidence which he might use to finally exact revenge against Ray.
