The teen sensation who shot to viral fame after uploading her amateur music video, “Friday” has already received two death threats since March and the authorities are currently conducting its investigation on the matter.
Citing a report by CBS News, the OnlineJournal.com said that one threat was made over the phone to the singer’s management company and the other was sent through email to the singer’s production company.
Both threats said Anaheim police spokesman, Sgt. Rick Martinez are demanding that Black removes her music video, “Friday” from the web.
"In essence, the threats were related to getting the music off the Internet or they were going to kill her," Anaheim police spokesman Sgt. Rick Martinez was quoted telling KCBS. "We can't validate how serious they are, but we do take it seriously."

The Anaheim police spokesman explained that authorities cannot ignore the threats made to the teen sensation.
"It's not the issue of being a celebrity," Martinez told LA Weekly, according to OnTheRedCarpet.com. "Whenever there are criminal threats, that's against the law. She lives in our city and goes to school here, so we take it seriously."
The authorities according to OTRC has been conducting investigation for several weeks since the threats were made.
"We're going to investigate and determine, number one, the source of the comments and then based on the investigation determine what intent was and where we go from here," Martinez said, according to OTRC. "If we believe they were actually intended as threats we will work toward prosecution."
Since her video, “Friday” has been uploaded on YouTube, it has been viewed for almost 100 million in less than two months, beating some of the hit videos by Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber.
