Rebel Wilson Works with Celebrity Crush Channing Tatum on 2013 MTV Movie Awards Promo [PHOTOS]
Move aside Charlize Theron, it is Rebel Wilson's turn to get close with hunky actor Channing Tatum. The Australian actress, who will be the host of the 2013 MTV Movie Awards, began filming a couple of promos for the awards show that it includes working with the "Magic Mike" star who happens to be her celebrity crush.
"I got action onset with @channingtatum today. He is pure man steak luscious," Rebel shared on the social networking site "Twitter" using the account @RebelWilson. Rebel even came up with a combined "couple name" for her and Channing which is "Chebel."
The 27-year-old comedienne also posted photos of her looking comfortable with Channing Tatum. In the photographs, Rebel and Channing donned a military get-up so it is expected that the 2013 MTV Movie Awards promo is similar to a "G.I. Joe" action scene but a hilarious one.
After her appearances in films like "Bridesmaids" and "Pitch Perfect," Rebel Wilson is beginning to conquer Hollywood. Hosting the 2013 MTV Movie Awards definitely proves that she is already making a name in the celebrity industry.
Rebel Wilson will be the first female host of the MTV Movie Awards show since Sarah Silverman back in 2007. She is one of the few chosen ladies given the opportunity to lead the show all on her own.
Other female celebrities who have hosted the awards show in the past include Sarah Jessica Parker, Jessica Alba and even Lindsay Lohan. Fans are now excited to find out what funny acts Rebel Wilson can deliver to the hosting field.
Meanwhile, this year's entire list of nominations will be announced for the first time during the "2013 MTV Movie Awards Nominations Spectacular" featuring a live on-air and online event on Tuesday, March 5. The official announcement will begin at 7:58 p.m. ET on MTV.
Rebel Wilson will join MTV News' Josh Horowitz in announcing the "Movie of the Year" nominees before proceeding to a 30-minute live stream on the web site MTV.com. Voting will begin immediately after the announcements at the MovieAwards.MTV.com web site.
