In this week’s episode of “Revenge,” Emily needs to stay one step ahead of Margaux LeMarchal in order to keep the peace and balance that she has worked hard for. With Margaux intent on seeking revenge for the death of Daniel Grayson, Emily and David are still unable to settle into a normal life. Meanwhile, Louise Ellis is also trying to live a normal life, but being married isn’t so easy especially with her brother trying to get back in good terms with her.

In the previous episode, Margaux’s attempt to destroy Emily through an incriminating video was thwarted with the help of Jack, Nolan and Louise. Agitated by the defeat, Margaux plays hardball by blackmailing Emily’s new boyfriend, Ben. She threatens the life of Ben’s ex-wife in exchange for some dirt on Emily. Unfortunately for Margaux, Ben decides to take Emily’s side. With Emily's help, Ben rescues his ex-wife and gives Margaux false information. Now that she’s desperate, Margaux decides to set up Jack in an attempt to hurt Emily. She gets Jack arrested on false drunk driving charges which leaves Emily, Nolan and Ben with yet another problem to solve.

Meanwhile, Victoria Grayson and Lyman Ellis lose their court battle against Natalie. They fail to reclaim Victoria’s inheritance from Natalie and this forces Victoria to fire Lyman. After losing his potential gold mine, Lyman thinks of another strategy. He approaches his sister Louise and charms her into forgiving him. Louise feels sorry for Lyman and agrees to give him a chance to rebuild their family. She invites him into the home she shares with her husband Nolan Ross, but unfortunately, he is completely opposed to the idea. Louise fights for her brother but she is proven wrong when she catches Lyman stealing information from Nolan’s computer. The two of them get into an argument and end up struggling for the flash drive with all the stolen materials. She accidentally pushes him off the cliff behind the house but is unable to confess what happened to Nolan.

Meanwhile, after winning all the Grayson money, Natalie continues to taunt Victoria. She sets up a 4th of July party, which has traditionally been Victoria’s big event of the year. She also makes a move on David knowing that he is Victoria’s ex. Victoria tries to warn David but he doesn’t believe her.

During the party, Natalie shows her true colours. She tries to set David up by accusing him of assaulting her. When David finds out what she’s trying to do, he asks her about the Grayson money. It turns out she was one of Conrad Grayson’s mistresses, and when he died, she went after his father. She swindled the dying old man out of his money and left Victoria with nothing to inherit.

Luckily for David, Victoria arrives just in time to record the conversation. With enough evidence to put her in jail, Victoria is able to get Natalie to turn over the money and lay off David. The former couple-turned-enemies find themselves becoming friends again after dealing with a common enemy.

With Natalie out of the way, David and Emily still have Margaux to deal with. What happens next will be revealed when “Revenge” returns next Sunday at 9 p.m. on ABC.
