‘Rick and Morty’ season 3 spoilers: Rick set to fight off against new nasty villain
A new trailer of “Rick and Morty” has been released online, and fans are highly anticipating “Rick and Morty” season 3. While the release date of the show is still to be confirmed, writers of the adult cartoon promised fans of the “best season” to come.
Writer Mike McMahan has teased fans of “Rick and Morty” on what to expect for its third season. The writer told fans to relax and wait because according to him, “greatness takes time,” and “Rick and Morty” season 3 is going to be the greatest installment of the popular cartoon series.
“Rick and Morty” season 3 is expected to be longer than its previous instalments. The first two seasons of the show had a total of 10 episodes each, but season 3 is confirmed to have a total of 14 episodes.
The trailer posted online also revealed how the story of “Rick and Morty” continues. It can be recalled that Rick went to a Galactic Federation Prison in season 2. Season 3 preview showed Rick will be escaping from prison and whether he’ll do it alone or he gets help from Morty or others to rescue him is something to anticipate.
Another thing to expect is that there will be a break out fight in the start of "Rick & Morty" season 3. If fans remembered, season 2 has ended with Rick going to a Galactic Federation Prison. However, with the trailer posted online, it seems like Rick will be able to escape from prison or someone will bust in to rescue him.
Moreover, “Rick and Morty” official Twitter has also released two concept arts for the upcoming season. Rick is bound to meet a nasty prison general in the Galactic Federation Prison whom he is bound to have a face-off with. Another concept art revealed on Twitter showed a rather peaceful and empty Morty’s garage. The image was captioned with:
“Morty's garage is looking a little... Rickless.#season3#productionart#FREERICK”
While “Rick and Morty” season 3 has no official release date announced yet, there are speculations that the TV series will launch later this year as snippets and trailers of the show are being released. For now, what is confirmed is that “Rick and Morty” will continue its trend of shocking anti-Americanism combined with its unique kind of humour.
