‘Ridiculously Photogenic Girl’ Becomes Internet Sensation [PHOTOS]
After the guy, here comes the "Ridiculously Photogenic Girl." But unlike the first one, you're not going to see her sprinting in marathon. This time she was photographed at a rather peculiar place.
A random girl becomes an internet sensation after she was dubbed "Ridiculously Photogenic Girl." Rachel, whose last name is not known, posted a photo of herself on the "Ask Me Anything" section on Reddit and from then on thousands of viewers have been clicking to see her picture for being "photogenic."
28-year-old Rachel who was pictured at the Intensive Care Unit at the Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, had 60 percent of her lungs removed when she was diagnosed with congenital emphysema after having pneumonia.
The army wife's picture has over 400,000 views in just mere two days and has been shared multiple times. In her photo that's viral around the web, it says "Lose 60% of her lung, wins 100% of my heart."
"People have been saying so many nice things about me the last few days. I've never felt more beautiful," Rachel who is under the username WhosThatGirl_ItsRach told Yahoo! that she is flattered with all the attention.
"They stopped my epidural for awhile yesterday. I wanted to die. My incisions and tubes and lungs were on fire. I wanted to scream but moving and making noise made it worse. I thought I was going to pass out from holding my breath. I'm scared right now," Rachel freely spoke about the pain that she experienced.
"I don't know what I'm going to do. I'm just so afraid. It's making me cry thinking about it. I feel so helpless right now. Yesterday was agony," she added.
But after her photo was posted and she was given the title "Ridiculously Photogenic Girl" by the web community, she now enjoys replying to positive posts and encouragements.
Rachel's story is similar to that of Zeddie Watkins Little. He was a 25-year-old average American guy whose picture was posted after he ran a 10K last March.
He was hailed "Ridiculously Photogenic Guy" and his picture was viewed 1.25 million times on Facebook two weeks after it was posted. He also appeared on morning television program "Good Morning America."
