TV show "House," mega movie franchise "Harry Potter" and actress Megan Fox were in the company of the rapidly growing Facebook pages in 2011.

According to the social media site's "Memology 2011" lists, the Fox medical drama was the most discussed and buzzed about show of the year and its central character, Dr. Gregory House, was the most talked about fictional character. Two and a Half Men and The Simpsons ranked No. 2 and No. 3, respectively.

Transformers star Megan Fox bagged the "actors and TV personalities" category thanks to her steamy good looks, while "Harry Potter" took the No. 1 spot for movies thanks to having one of the largest serial following.

Following "Harry Potter" in the top spot was the "Twilight" series as well as Pixar's celebrated "Toy Story 3." Right behind Fox though is action hero Vin Diesel and SNL alum and funny man Adam Sandler.

Rihanna led with the most following in 2011 among musicians and her "We Found Love" with Calvin Harris was the year's most listened to songs. Surprisingly, it was Reggae god who followed Rihanna's lead closely tailed by Canadian punk princess Avril Lavigne.

The most listened to songs aside from the aforementioned "We Found Love," were Katy Perry's infectious "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)" and "Sexy and I Know It" by party favourites LMFAO.

Proving the site's worldwide appeal, Argentine soccer player Leo Messi was first all over other athletes' Facebook pages while his team, FC Barcelona, was the most admired sports team. Christian Ronaldo took the number 2 spot for Athletes and John Cena was a close third. However it was all football all the time in the second and third spots as Real Madrid C.F. and Manchester United clinched the top spots.
