The 26-year old Robert Pattinson went to the ground and his world was torn apart after his girlfriend of three years publicly apologized for having a fling with "Snow White and The Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders.

The "Twilight" actor has not been seen since the Kristen Stewart cheating scandal broke out but current reports are now stating that Robert Pattinson is hiding out at actress Reese Witherspoon's vacation house.

According to reports, the English actor was tracked down at the tranquil $7million ranch of his "Water For Elephants" co-star Reese Witherspoon in Ojai, California. The 36-year old actress, who wed husband Jim Toth in March 2011 at the rustic chic estate, apparently came to Pattinson's rescue and offered him to stay at the luxurious estate.

"He is a total mess. He's questioning everything," a source shared. "He doesn't know what to do," the source further added.

Meanwhile, Kristen Stewart is claimed to be inconsolable at the moment and she has been trying hard to get in touch with Robert Pattinson through a string of text messages and phone calls.

"She's dying to save the relationship. It's the only thing she cares about," a source revealed.

Film director Rupert Sanders is also holding on hoping that his 10-year marriage with model and actress Liberty Ross can be salvaged. Sanders was spotted from his Los Angeles home looking troubled last Monday but he was still wearing his wedding ring even after the shocking pictures of him kissing Kristen Stewart was exposed.

Liberty Ross has remained silent and gave no comment on her husband's liaison with the "Snow White and The Huntsman" actress Kristen Stewart. However, Robert Pattinson is determined to know the truth if the tryst between Stewart and Sanders was just a momentary indiscretion or has it been going on for months by also having a talk with Ross.

"He needs to know for his own peace of mind if theirs was just a fleeting moment. He hopes Liberty can help him find the answers that he so desperately craves," a source told The Daily Mirror.
