Where were Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart when the Teen Choice Awards 2013 was being broadcast on Fox as it was happening at the Gibson Amphitheater on August 11? The couple had missed out on what could be one of the last, greatest moments for Twilight, the hit film that brought them international superstardom and with great adoration by millions of Twihard fans.

With Tweens’ hopes high to witness Robsten reunion in what could have been their first public appearance after second split in May 2013, Rob and Kristen did not show up at the entertainment gathering over the weekend.

The former lovers won big in the TCA 2013, along with co-stars Taylor Lautner and Kellan Lutz. Rob won the Choice Movie Actor for Romance while Kristen nabbed the Choice Movie Actress both for Romance and Sci-fi/ Fantasy. Taylor robbed (pardon the pun) RPattz the Choice Movie Actor in Sci-Fi and Fantasy category while Kellan Lutz stole the Choice Movie Scene Stealer award.

The final installment of the "Twilight" series also came out a big winner at the gathering Sunday having nabbed the Choice Movie both for Romance and Sci-Fi/Fantasy categories, beating out major contenders including "Beautiful Creatures," "Iron Man" and "Warm Bodies," among others.

But the former lovers, known for their iconic roles in the hit film based on the novel by Stephenie Meyer of the same title, have failed to summon any strength to brave a reunited front. It looks like they are not done with their unfinished business as of yet.

The HollywoodLife.com said that Kristen would have wanted to come. But Rob thought, it was not a good idea.

“It was primarily Rob’s decision not to go. He has been wanting to distance himself from the "Twilight" films for quite some time now. Kristen felt kind of hurt that Rob is so eager to move away with anything that has to do with the franchise. In a way, she takes it kind of personally,” a source HollywoodLife.com claimed close to Kristen said.

But where were the couple during the TCA broadcast?

Kristen apparently was on the set of "Camp X-Ray" and was busy with the production of the film by Peter Sattler. According to E!, a Twitter page created by a Kristen fan to promote her upcoming drama film, revealed the star’s whereabouts while her name was being called for two major awards at TCA.

Joining other stars, including hottie co-star, Lane Garrison, Kristen was reportedly filming a scene at Nelles Correctional Facility in Whittier, Calif, located miles away from the Universal City where the event was taking place.

Along with the scoop is a photo of Kristen and Lane and the star was seen sporting a baseball cap with expletive texts emblazoned on it. A look at the photo showed that Kristen is getting better giving her tiger look, a must and a basic one in military. Kristen plays a soldier in the drama film, "Camp X-Ray."

Meanwhile, Robert for his part has remained unaccounted for at the time of the TCA broadcast. But chances are Rob was still nursing a hangover or getting more sleep after staying all night at a post-screening soiree held for an independent film, “It Felt Like Love.”

As reported by IBTimes-AU, Rob was spotted hanging out with "Fast and the Furious" star, Michelle Rodriguez on the eve of the TCA event. An eagle-eyed eyewitness posted a photo of Rob at the party, with a caption describing him lighting M-Rod’s cigarette on August 10, Saturday. Rob was first spotted taking a “smoke-break” with M-Rod while partying on July 24.

Both Rob and Kristen are pretty busy working after they split in May 2013. While Kristen is working for "Camp X-Ray," Rob had just wrapped up location shoot in Toronto, Canada for a David Cronenberg’s film, "Maps to the Stars."

They were never seen together since the split, until Rob was seen on August 1 and 4, driving away from the Los Feliz lovenest he had shared with Kristen when they were still together. Fans were hoping to see them reunited at the Teen Choice Awards 2013 but Robsten had disappointed them, anew.
