British actor Robert Pattinson, who portrays the well-known vampire character Edward Cullen, is currently in Australia promoting "Breaking Dawn Part 2" which is the final installment to the "Twilight" movie franchise. After arriving at the Sydney airport on Sunday, the young heartthrob was hurriedly escorted away from the screaming fans to a black car waiting outside.

Despite being whisked away so fast, Robert Pattinson was photographed looking cool with his usual fashion style. The actor arrived in Australia sporting a white T-shirt and black jeans paired up with a beanie and sunglasses.

The Sun reports Robert Pattinson promotes "Breaking Dawn Part 2" in Australia sans Kristen Stewart. The actress was left behind in Los Angeles where she had a great time attending the early birthday celebration of singer Katy Perry. It is believed that the recently reconciled couple is slowly rebuilding their damaged relationship after the cheating scandal.

Meanwhile, Robert Pattinson had an appearance on Monday at a private fan event where he gladly posed for the cameras and signed autographs for his fans.

The movie franchise produced by Summit Entertainment has actually decided that there will be no couple promotions for Mr. Pattinson and Miss Stewart after the controversy, believing that it may actually backfire and fans may not see it for real.

Summit Entertainment had made all the "Twilight" stars make separate promotional tours in different countries. Kristen Stewart will be in Japan while Taylor Lautner is scheduled to appear in Brazil. Afterwards, the entire cast will meet up at the Los Angeles premiere of "Breaking Dawn Part 2" in November.

The upcoming red carpet premiere will be the first time that Robert and Kristen will appear together for an event, though may be not fully as a couple.

The "Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2" will officially hit the Australian cinemas on November 15.
