"Twilight" stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are reportedly giving their relationship another try. However, it appears that close friends of the 26-year-old British actor are not happy about his rumored reconciliation with 22-year-old Kristen Stewart.
According to reports, Robert Pattinson's friends are desperately trying to urge the young heartthrob get on with his life and get him as far as possible from the actress, who admitted cheating on him. The couple's relationship was put on the rocks back in July when news about Kristen cheating on Robert with married film director Rupert Sanders was revealed.
"Robert's friends don't want to see him hurt again. But it's easier said than done," a source told People magazine. "His friends keep telling him he needs some time and space but they all think they will be a couple again, maybe as soon as they are together for the 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2' promos in November," the source further shared.
Late in September, the estranged couple was trying to work things out, according to unconfirmed reports. Robert Pattinson decided to give the brunette actress another chance after realizing that he could not live without her.
"They pretty much decided they couldn't live without each other," a source revealed. "Kristen poured her heart out to Robert and told him it was a one-off and a mistake. Rob sees it as Kristen made a really stupid mistake. After a lot of long tearful talks, they've worked it out," the source added.
"Summit is ready for the press tour with both of them," a source shared. "They have no qualms whatsoever for them to work together [like] they have in the past. Summit is no longer scared of the outcome now that time has passed and things appear to be getting back to normal," the source further revealed.
Can friends stop Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's getting back together? Or is it all just for show for the forthcoming movie screening of the last installment to the successful "Twilight Series: Breaking Dawn 2"?
