The box-office, sci-fi fantasy, Twilight franchise has reportedly been eyeing holding a get-together for its cast members and a post-Teen Choice Awards soiree this weekend, but the only thing that’s holding them is a possible awkward reunion for Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.

The Robsten romance is again making headlines after the former lovers received nominations for Choice Movie: Liplock category. Vying for the romantic award against other hottest couples in Hollywood, Rob and Kristen have found themselves at the center following their controversial split in May 2013.

The much-talked about Robsten romance is what holding other cast members of the hit film, Twilight for the highly-anticipated reunion. They fear that it would force Rob and Kristen to do what they have been avoiding all these months - - to be in the same room and brave a front for their friends and co-stars.

The group is planning a post-Teen Awards barbecue party and another one by the end of the year. But everything is still up in the air.

“There is a Twilight barbecue and get-together a few of the cast members are trying to plan on a weekend near Thanksgiving," an insider was quoted as telling a gossip Web site, according to Entertainmentwise.com.

The plan is to hold the Twilight reunion "when things aren’t too crazy on everyone’s schedule."

Details of the soiree were revealed after the film received multiple nominations for Teen Choice Awards 2013. With the gathering scheduled at the Gibson Amphitheater in Los Angeles, California on August 11, some cast members and film officials deem it right to pat each other on the back for jobs well done. Only, there’s the Robsten Romance.

“But everyone feels awkward, because they of course want to invite Rob and Kristen, but no one knows if they will be okay to go to the same function together. It’s really awkward," the insider reportedly added.

The final installment of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 has received a number of nominations at the Teen Choice Awards this year. Not only is the Twilight series a film to beat at the Choice Movie: Romance genre, but it has other awards added to its name.
