Psyonix’s vehicle soccer game “Rocket League” is officially coming to the Xbox One next year. Xbox owners have been longing to get their hands on the hit indie title, and they’ll be getting it soon when it launches along with a slew of different battlecars.

No exact release date for the game has been given yet, but “Rocket League” will launch sometime in Febuary 2016. When it launches, players will be given some console-exclusive vehicles which are based on famous Xbox games so fans are sure to be excited about the wider array of available battle cars.

“Rocket League” will come with 16 different battle cars to choose from. On top of the 16, the HogSticker and the Armadillo will also be exclusively available to Xbox One players, Techtimes reports.

The HogSticker is the battle car version of the Warthog, found in the “Halo” series. On the other hand, the Armadillo is a vehicle found in the game “Gears of War.” What’s even better is that the Xbox One version of “Rocket League” will launch will all previously-released DLC packages and exclusive customized items so no one is left behind.

However, its developer, Psyonix, has confirmed that “Rocket League” will not feature cross-platform play. This means that only Xbox One players of “Rocket League” can enjoy the game with players on the same console.

“The Xbox platform doesn't allow for crossplay matchmaking between other systems as a general practice across all titles,” said Psyonix via Twitter.

Despite this, the game is still sure to be a massive hit on the Xbox One as it was on the PlayStation 4 and PC. Since the PC version is run by Microsoft, players could hope to still get a PC vs. Xbox One multiplayer server sometime in the future.
