The classic rock balladeer Rod Stewart is set to come back to Australia to do a series of concerts starting February 4, 2012 at the NIB Stadium in Perth, WA Australia.

'The Hits' tour will also be presented over the stages of Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane according to The Frontier Touring Company. This tour will also serve as a kind of tribute to all the hits that the classic singer has gather right under his belt through the span of four decades of his career.

Those who will see Rod Stewart play can expect to hear several of his hit singles in the UK region that have reached a total of 62 such as 'The First Cut is the Deepest,' 'Da Ya Think I'm Sexy,' 'Maggie May' amongst many others.

Besides, the singer has always been known for his trademark style of delivering concert performances that take his fans and the rest of the audience down the memory lane.

Rod Stewart's first big break happened in 1971 with the release of 'Every Picture Tells a Story.' This is the album that featured his greatest hits such as 'Maggie Mae' and even coming up with a rock version of a classic R&B song called 'I (Know) I'm Losing You.'

The last rock album he made was in 2001 entitled 'Human' to give way to his work on his very own 'American Songbook' series. Diesel, an Aussie hit maker is set to join Rod's tour all over the region.
