'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story': Kylo Ren's reaction to trailer video takes internet by storm

A new trailer of “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” has been released online and with it new video reactions are surfacing. Perhaps the most entertaining reaction is the one where a fan used footage from “The Force Awakens” and did a voice over to show Kylo Ren’s reaction.

The reaction video posted on YouTube starts with “Kylo Ren” introducing himself. The first scene in the trailer shows TIE fighters flying over what appears to be a small city controlled by the Empire, so for obvious reasons this “looks good.”

Kylo Ren calls Saw Gerrera (Forest Whitaker) “a man to be reckoned with.” The character was an important figure even during the Clone Wars. He played a key role in the liberation of his homeworld during the Battle of Onderon, earning the respect of even the Empire.

Saw Gerrera is part of a team that will be tasked with stealing the plans of the Death Star in “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.” Kylo Ren points out that many people have tried that in the past and failed. He would now like to see Saw and his team die.

Kylo Ren also makes fun of the command center of the Rebel Alliance. He jokes about the number of blue neon displaces in the background and calls them “Rebel scum,” a term commonly used by the Empire’s forces.

When it comes to the Empire’s ships and weapons, Kylo Ren has nothing but praise. Looking at the protagonist Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones) he asks who she is and points out that she doesn’t look like a Bothan. Bothans were involved in stealing the plans for the second Death Star, not the first.

Kylo Ren is impressed with Chirrut (Donnie Yen) and his “stick” after seeing him fight Stormtroopers with blasters in the “Rogue One A Star Wars Story” trailer. He remarks that if he had such a stick he would be unstoppable. The final scene of Darth Vader gets Kylo Ren furious, as he wants to know if Hayden Christensen is playing his “grandfather.”
