'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story': New trailer released; No Darth Vader
A new trailer of “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” has been released online. The video shows more footage from the film, but the iconic villain Darth Vader is not featured. The main focus of the video is Jyn Erso who inspires the Rebels to take on the Empire.

The upcoming movie is set in a time when the Empire is preparing to test the first Death Star. The new trailer begins with the main villain Director Orson Krennic (Ben Mendelsohn) and the dreaded weapon itself.
The main focus of the trailer is on Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones), who inspires the Rebels one by one to take on the Empire. The video teases a scene in which the protagonist convinces Saw Gerrera (Forest Whitaker) to join her team, and she offers him a chance to make a real difference. She offers her team hope in the face of insurmountable odds.
But, the trailer also shows the massive task ahead for the team in “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.” The Empire has a powerful army that the Rebel team will have to fight. Some of the action sequences featured in the movie can be seen in the trailer, including some new footage.
Meanwhile, a new set of behind-the-scenes pictures of the movie have been posted on Star Wars Aficionado blog. The pictures show the cast and crew during their break from filming, and also tease the filming of some of the action sequences.
“Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” is slated to be released on Dec. 15 in Australia. Fans are eagerly waiting for the first spin-off from the franchise because it will bring back Darth Vader in a big way. Although the Sith Lord is not expected to have a major presence in the movie, the few scenes he will be in are sure to get the fans excited.
