Rosie O'Donnell was seen with her family at Rosie's Theater Kids Gala at The New York Marriott Marquis on Monday. O'Donnell, 53, attended the 12th edition of her organisation with her children Parker, 20, Vivienne, 12, Blake, 15, and close friend Tatum O'Neal. Unfortunately, her adopted daughter Chelsea was nowhere to be seen. Chelsea, 18, went missing in August but was eventually found with a 25-year-old guy whom she met on Tinder.

In an interview with US Weekly, O'Donnell said, "Yes, all of my kids except Chelsea [are here]. Which is sad, but hopefully, there will come a day when she'll want to come."

Talking about Chelsea’s choices, Rosie said, "Well, it's not really a new situation for our family. I know it's new for the press so it seems to be making a big splash, but it's been a situation that the whole family has had to deal with for over a decade. It hasn't been easy, but we love her very much, and we hope she's safe and starts to make some better choices."

Chelsea Belle O'Donnell was born in 1997. She was adopted by Rosie and her ex-wife Kelli Carpenter. Chelsea became a regular in media reports after she left home with her therapy dog, Bear without informing anyone. She was later found with Steven M. Sheerer. Chelsea has been staying with her biological mother, Deanna Micoley, after turning 18.

The ex-"View" co-host was visibly unhappy with Chelsea’s choices. She said that even though they got the best help available in the U.S. for Chelsea, now that she's 18, her daughter can legally decide where she wants to stay. Rosie hopes that she eventually finds her way back home. O'Donnell was also in the news recently for settling her divorce with executive-search consultant Michelle Rounds. Rosie and Michelle divorced after only two years of marriage. They have agreed to share joint custody of their daughter, Dakota.

Rosie O'Donnell has a recurring role in the TV series "The Fosters," which stars Teri Polo (Stefanie “Stef” Marie Adams Foster) and Sherri Saum (Lena Elizabeth Adams Foster). She plays the role of Rita Hendricks, the Girls' United leader who befriends Callie (Maia Mitchell). Girls' United is a group home for troubled girls.
