Royal Scandal: Prince Harry's Nude Photo Cause Outrage
After the 2012 London Olympics, all eyes were once again set on the British Royals for their grace and cultured demeanor that lasted all throughout the summer season. However, as the whole world slowly turned their heads away from Great Britain, one Royal was caught partying in Vegas with his pants down. Literally.
Over the span of two years, Prince Harry's record has been fairly clean, even getting the responsibility of being the only Blue Blood to close the 2012 Olympics, along with sister-in-law, the Duchess of Cambridge. However, the span of "cleanliness" can only make the incident much more shocking that it actually is, especially after knowing how this can cause trouble for the young Royal.
"One camp is the military. Harry is, after all, an Apache helicopter pilot in the British army, and he and some fellow servicemen were reportedly in Las Vegas for a final blowout before their likely deployment to Afghanistan this fall." reports Celebuzz.
The 27-year old prince can only add this to his long list of scandalous behavior, which range from underage drinking, smoking pot, as well as wearing a Nazi uniform as a costume to a party.
The Press Complaints Commisionhave suggested a blackout request of the said picture, citing the third clause of their PCC Editor's Code of Practice which states, "It is unacceptable to photograph individuals in private places without their consent."
However, this may imply minimal effect on keeping the photos from spreading.
"There's no way to stop a story like this. The genie is out of the bottle and Buckingham Palace is aware of that. I don't see what they can gain by keeping these stories out of the British press. For the Brits in London or Edinburgh, TMZ is just one click away." said Rory Carroll, a US rep for The Guardian, as reported by E! Online.
With regards to Harry himself, it is a good thing that aside from the reprimands that he will get from the British Army, the only important detail in this is his shame, and the only offense he committed is his lack of judgment.
