The rumoured new phablet from Samsung dubbed as Galaxy Mega is now available for pre-order ahead of its launch.

Samsung is now likely to roll out a set of Galaxy Mega devices, which will carry screens sized around 6 inches. So far, specs of two devices are leaked to web under the new Galaxy Mega line; the Galaxy Mega 5.8 and Galaxy Mega 6.3. It is hyped that the former one is appearing as a successor to Note 2, which has a 5.5-inch display. As it name tells, Mega 5.8 would sport a 5.8-inch display.

Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 and Mega 5.8 are supposed to make its debut in June. However, German retailer Notebooksbilliger is taking pre-orders for the Mega 6.3 as of today.

In the website, the device is price is currently 699 euros or over 900 dollars. This is surely too pricey compared to the actual price of the device based on the alleged specs and features of the Galaxy Mega.

Sure enough, at times some retailers put unannounced devices on pre-order just to get traffic on their websites. However, Notebooksbilliger is well known in Germany, so that might not be the case here.

Based from the reports, the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 should feature a 6.3 inch PLS display with 1280 x 720 pixels, Android Jelly Bean (4.1.2 or 4.2.2), Nature UX, Wi-Fi 80211 a/b/g/n, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, 2MP front-facing camera, 8MP rear camera, dual-core 1.7GHz Exynos processor, 1.5GB of RAM, and a 3,200 mAh battery. It's going to measure 167.6 x 88 x 7.9mm.

The smaller Galaxy Mega 5.8, on the other hand, is supposedly a dual SIM device, coming with a qHD display, 1.4GHz dual-core CPU, and a 2,600 mAh battery.

Customers who are looking for large screen phones, will fall in love with the upcoming Galaxy Mega smartphones. However, it is a big question that how people can slot in the devices in their pockets or handbags. They are such massive devices that make their handy use difficult, and they fall in between a midsize tablet and phablet.
