Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 finally arrived in Germany and United Arab Emirates last Monday and is expected to be released worldwide in the coming weeks.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is powered by Google's Android software although reports did not specify whether it is the latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean or Ice Cream Sandwich. The device has a touchscreen feature and has a large 10.1 screen display.

Moreover, the new gadget of Samsung comes with a quad-core processor that allows users to run multiple applications at a faster speed than the previous version, which had a dual-core processor.

Like its predecessor, Galaxy Note 10.1 has a stylus S-Pen that allows users to write and draw on the screen of the tablet. The new version allows users to split the screen in half to view two programs at once.

Galaxy Note 10.1 also incorporates Learning Hub for accessing educational curricula and Adobe's premium creative application Photoshop Touch. Learning Hub is currently available in Korea, the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, China and Singapore, and will gradually roll-out to other global markets.

Other features that have been added to the device include Smart Stay, which tracks the user's eyes to ensure that the screen is always on while being looked at, and Pop Up Play, which allows the user to watch a video anywhere on their screen while simultaneously running other tasks.

Moreover, another unique Samsung feature is integrated in the new tablet. The AllSharePlay allows users to share content with a large group in real-time by connecting GALAXY Note 10.1 to Samsung HD TVs, mobile tablets, laptops, and other consumer electronic devices on the same network. With AllShare Group Cast, users can also share and collaborate on documents, presentations, or images without loading the files separately.

According to the company, The Galaxy Note 10.1 comes in three connectivity options: WiFi-only and WiFi-and-3G HSPA-Plus connectivity, which are both available at launch, and WiFi-and-LTE which will be available later this year.

The new tablet is expected to hit the shelves in United States on August 15. Samsung Electronics America released an announcement for a media event on the aforementioned date. However, the announcement did not specify the device that will be launched. Many speculated that it could be either the Galaxy Note 10.1 or Galaxy Note 2 or both.

Chief of Samsung's Mobile Unit said in a statement, "the advanced technology and features included in Galaxy Note 10.1 give users the power to produce, create and customize communications."

This is the same case with Samsung Galaxy S3, Germany and UAE got to enjoy the device first followed immediately by a media launch in Australia. Thus, there is a great possibility that the device will be released in Australia soon.
