The Korean technology giant Samsung is getting ready to launch the Galaxy Note 3 in 2013, recent reports said. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 speculations began when the said device reportedly appeared on the GLBenchmark.

As part of the latest product's improvement, Samsung's main display attention is directed from the large-sized LCD to the organic light-emitting diode (OLED) as well as the plastic-based flexible displays enhanced for smart phones and tablets. Also at a reported size of 6.3 inches, Galaxy Note 3 will be relatively smaller to the other 7-inch tablets like Apple's iPad or Google Nexus 7.

The GLBenchmark report also exposed that the latest Galaxy Note will run on Android 4.1.2 JellyBean and feature a 1.6 GHz Exynos 4412 CPU. The screen display will have a resolution of 1280x800.

A couple of technology publications are also declaring that Samsung could create and release a 7-inch version of the smart phone/tablet very soon. The device could then face competition against Apple's iPad mini or Google's Nexus 7.

Meanwhile, Samsung Galaxy Note 2 was just recently launched but the company reported that the device has already sold 5 million units upon its release. Thus, it became one of Samsung's most triumphant devices.

J.K. Shin, Head of Samsung's Mobile Unit, projected Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will sell 20 million units in one year. However, the reported number of units sold pushes the company to surpass the forecast sales.

The launch of the much talked about Samsung Galaxy Note 3 as well as the Samsung Galaxy S4 could be another record-smashing sale for the South Korean-based company. It is undeniable that Samsung benefited from the successful launch of the other devices like the Samsung Galaxy S3.

However, Samsung has not yet released a statement to confirm or deny the online speculations that surfaced about the Galaxy Note 3 features, specifications and launch date.
