Amazon currently offers a smartphone deal for the Samsung Galaxy S4 16GB version via Sprint for a price of $99.99 with a contract. The deal applies to both new and existing customers until Thursday, August 1 and customers can choose from the available white and black colour choices.

The retailer will be waiving as well the activation fee and offer a free two-day shipping even without the Amazon Prime account. The outright retail price of the Galaxy S4 is worth $649.99 without the contract.

Additionally, Sprint offers the "buy one get one free discount" for the Samsung Galaxy S4 as well as its predecessor Samsung Galaxy S3 where the smartphones need its personal line of service on a two-year contract or a qualified upgrade.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 on Sprint has a price of $199.99 after a $50 rebate while the Samsung Galaxy S3 costs $99.99. Sprint's Samsung Galaxy S4 has a 5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED screen display, 1.9GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 2GB of RAM, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system and a 13MP camera with the synchronized dual image capture.

Additional features and specs include the power of a 2600mAh removable battery, 16GB internal storage capacity with microSD card slot to expand memory storage up to 64GB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, 4G LTE radio and infrared LED universal remote control. The South Korean technology giant has incorporated as well a couple of cool software features on the Galaxy S4 such as Air Gesture, Air View, Smart Scroll, Smart Pause and Dual Shot.

The Smart Scroll feature will allow the users to scroll through the Web pages without touching the smartphone screen by simply staring at the display and tilting the device up or down. The impressive Smart Pause feature can detect the user looking away from the screen and automatically puts the video being watched on pause.

Once the user glances back on the screen display, the video will resume playing. The Dual Shot is a camera feature that allows the user to utilize both cameras on the Samsung Galaxy S4 simultaneously and include themselves in the captured images or videos that they took.
