With the fast-approaching launch of Samsung Galaxy S4, the excitement further builds up on the latest smart phone as new details with its features and specifications continue to appear. Recent reports claim that Samsung Galaxy S4 will be unveiled featuring the "eye scroll" or "eye-tracking" technology.

New York Times claims that the high-tech built-in eye feature can track the user's eyes on where to scroll next and help with the web site browsing. Brian Chen of The New York Times reportedly stated: "The phone will track a user's eyes to determine where to scroll, said a Samsung employee who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the news media."

Brian Chen cited an example on how the alleged Samsung Galaxy S4 "Eye Scroll" feature works. "When users read articles and their eyes reach the bottom of the page, the software will automatically scroll down to reveal the next paragraphs of text," Chen explained.

In January, Samsung reportedly filed for the "Eye Scroll" trademark in Europe followed with the February "Samsung Eye Scroll" trademark filed in the United States. The remarkable eye feature has been described as a "computer application software having a feature of sensing eye movements and scrolling displays of mobile devices namely mobile phones, smart phones, digital cameras and tablet computers."

Aside from the "Eye Scroll" feature, Samsung Galaxy S4 will reportedly include the touch-less gestures as well. Hand gestures will allow the users to perform actions like unlocking the smart phone without even touching it.

However, the unidentified Samsung employee who reported the "Eye Scroll" technology on the Galaxy S4 did not confirm if the eye-tracking feature will be shown at the New York City event for the Samsung Galaxy S4 on March 14, 2013.
