Samsung Galaxy S4: Unveiled Smart Phone Features Eye Control and Hand Gesture Technology
Samsung Electronics has finally unveiled its latest smart phone at a late Thursday media event held in New York City. The Samsung Galaxy S4 features new software technologies that will allow users to control the smart phone screen with their eyes and hands.
Infrared sensors are located on the front of the Samsung Galaxy S4 to detect hand movements. A waving gesture can be done as well to answer a call or scroll through the web pages while browsing.
Eye movements can control the Samsung Galaxy S4 with one feature identified as the "Samsung Smart Pause." The South Korean technology giant explained in a statement: "When you are watching a video, the video pauses when you look away then it starts right up again when you are back."
Samsung Galaxy S4 is scheduled to be released by the end of April. The smart phone has a 5-inch HD screen display with 1080x1920p resolution and a higher pixel density of 441ppi.
Available storage capacities for the Samsung Galaxy S4 are the 16GB, 32GB and 64GB versions. Other features and specifications include the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update, 100mbps download on LTE, a temperature and humidity sensor and a 2,600mAh battery.
Samsung Galaxy S4 has the same polycarbonate, removable back cover of the Samsung Galaxy S3 as well as the size and shape. The only difference is that the Samsung Galaxy S4 sports sharper edges than the Galaxy S3.
The Galaxy S4 unveiling held in New York City on March 14 is Samsung's first Galaxy device launch in three years. The launch event showed that Samsung has a growing progress and influence over the mobile carriers plus the technology incorporated on latest smart phone is further developing to provide amazing and high-quality experience for the device enthusiasts.
