Samsung has promised a "major" product announcement on August 15. However, speculations all lead to the introduction of the revamped Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 already arrived in Germany and United Arab Emirates last Monday and is expected to be released worldwide in the coming weeks.

There is also the IFA event in Berlin but since the invite came from Samsung Mobile, consumers are expecting the launching of the much anticipated Galaxy Note 2.

There are rumors that the massive tablet will be introduced as well in Berlin. It is a possibility but there is no concrete evidence to back it up.

Samsung has released no less than 293 new devices this year. Samsung's specialty is to offer different devices to various markets.

Samsung overtook Apple and the latter fell into second place in the smartphone market with the successful release and sales of Samsung Galaxy S3. Samsung managed to took a bite on Apple's shares.

However, Apple still dominates the tablet market with over 60 percent of market share. Thus, everyone anticipates if Samsung will reveal a tablet device that will beat Apple's iPad like what it did with iPhone.
