Investigations led by the Los Angeles police says it was a planned suicide. Joe Bodolai's body was found by a cleaning crew. A bottle of Gatorade and a mix of anti-freeze was also found nearby the body. The former writer for Saturday Night Live was said to be staying at the Los Angeles hotel for over a week and a lot of clues along with multiple back stories have emerged as to why the renowned writer decided to take his own life.

Who was Joe Bodolai and what were his proudest moments?

Apart from his work on writing 20 episodes for Saturday Night Live, Joe Bodolai is also known for his works from 1981 to 1982 for the Canadian show "Kids in the Hall."

"Lorne asking me to produce Kids in the Hall. Long story here. He didn't tell me that HBO was going to cancel the show after the first season. I kept it alive. Honest to god. The cast and crew had no idea what I did and I didn't either. It would not have gone to season two had I not become the me I loved. Thinking on my feet in the breakfast meeting in the HBO boardroom with Bridget Potter. The Kids have no idea. Ask John Blanchard, who was there but probably will not get what I did. I saved his job too. I f*ckin' kicked ass," says Joe during production days of "Kids in the Hall."

His works go back to the times when he produced videos with the well-known artist Andy Warhol and introducing Toronto to the Major League Baseball. The 63-year old also co-wrote the movie "Wayne's World" which also included the famous comedian Mike Myers. His campaign for Robert Kennedy and being included under the resistance for the Vietnam War were also two major points in his life.

Having a successful marriage with wife Bianca and two intelligent, handsome sons, what in the world pushed Joe to commit suicide? A final entry on his blog dated December 23 with the title "If This Was Your Last Day Alive What Would You Do?" leaves his family, friends and fans little answers and more questions.
