A 5-minute parody of the famous HBO series hit the web earlier this week, and fans are raving how accurate and humorous it is, portraying the rival families as high school cliques that fight for popularity and for the throne of prom king.

Now that the third season is hyped and

Entitled "Prom Night Is Coming," the parody features the families through different groups that can be found in any high school setting. The Starks are the assertive, hipster nerds, the Greyjoys being the dark swim team, Baratheons the bullies, and the Lannisters as smug jocks and cheerleaders.

In one scene in the aptly-named "Westeros High," the Starks come across a foreign exchange student with platinum hair, who is Daenerys Targaryen. Red-haired Sansa already explains to the foreigner that there is a strict rivalry between cliques, and that one cannot cross over another group.

"But we can't be that different right? We're young, hormonal, we all love a sh*tload of dragons..." quips the actress who plays Daenerys in the parody.

"We're actually more of a dog family. We are Starks, our way is the vintage way." interrupts the high school indie nerd who plays Robb Stark.

"And prom night is coming...." continues the young Stark who wears a pair of nerdy glasses and flannel shirt in the video.

Then it shifts to a wall where posters of Renly and Lora and Stannis and Mel battling for prom king and queen. Considering that Stannis and Renly are brothers, the parody creates a funny tension between the rivals: attracting crowds of their own, and throwing parties at the same night-the usual high school-y actions anyone will do for attention.

This is the part where viewers find most amusing, how the rivalries, even in high school, can make a riveting and exciting plot. With over a million views on YouTube, it is evident how accurately funny and entertaining the parody is.
